Entsabeni Backpackers is situated in the Lubombo region of Swaziland just outside the sugarcane producing village of Big Bend where the Great Usutu River makes it’s exit from Swaziland into Mozambique cutting a gorge in the Volcanic Lubombo Mountain range. The house lies at the centre of a privately owned estate located on the foothills of the Lubombo Mountains boasting superb views of the surrounding area including the sugar mill and cane fields. The house has five rooms and two communal bathrooms one of which has a bathtub as well as a common lounge area. The furnishings and facilities in the rooms make for no ordinary backpackers, termed so because of the shared bathrooms. All the rooms have air-conditioning as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Free wireless internet is also available throughout the house. The staff and owners of Entsabeni Backpackers are there to assist guest in any way possible to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. A communal fridge and washing machine are available and barbeque facilities can be arranged at your request. Breakfast is optional as request as well.

The estate is home to various wildlife including Impala, Zebra, Kudu, Nyala and Ostriches. The Farm Café serves up delicious home-made cuisine, with most of the produce sourced from our organic garden, from early morning into the late afternoon. The local village has a country club within it where one can grab dinner or just enjoy a drink at the pub. The estate owner is a keen collector of vintage cars which he sources and restores himself, a tour around his private “mini-museum” can be arranged at your request. As we are situated nearby game – this establishment is not suitable to host functions. Secure parking is available.
